created to wish for
the healthy growth of children.
Miyagi Prefecture,
where we are based,
is renowned as the birthplace
of KOKESHI.
We collaborated
with a local artist
on this tooth-inspired KOKESHI dolls,
along with the exhibition
of the tooth-shaped stools.

Born in Sendai, Japan in 1973.
She specializes in acrylic paintings, pencil drawings and art print.
Presiding her own gallery and atelier “GALLERY ECHIGO” since 1998 in Sendai, she publishes her artworks at solo and group exhibitions in Japan and abroad. 2000 Judge Prize at TURNER AWARD.
